We recognize the  impact climate change has on a local and global level and the responsibility of businesses to tackle this

which is why we are making  a pledge to help reduce the environmental impact of The Community Launderette.

*We will reuse coat hangers and collect  

*We will  recycle any plastic bags we receive.

It is estimated by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. These steps can go a small way at reducing impact and as we grow we will continue to find more ways to help protect the earth .

*All our washing machines are energy rating A or higher.

This  will help reduce the amount of water and electric used per wash which will help us become more environmentally friendly while still delivering excellent laundry results.

* Our washing detergent  does not contain dangerous  chemicals  which may harm aquatic life. So its kinder for the planet .

As we continue to grow our buisness we will continue to adapt new ways to become more environmentally friendly and help protect the planet and support local enviromental projects.
